Are You An Overnight Delivery Money Waster?

If you procrastinate holiday shopping for so long that you end up paying for overnight delivery, you don't need me to tell you that you are wasting money. I thought about this tonight when I ordered some prints from Kodak Gallery. The website indicated I could pick the prints up at my local store in a few days for a delivery charge of $2.49 or I could get them overnight for $57.00. I'm sorry but $57 for the delivery of photos? Somebody must be paying for this service or it would not be offered.

The best way to avoid paying for overnight delivery is to start early and be prepared. Since time sneaks up on all of us, I always start gathering gifts and boxes much earlier than December. My spouse always thinks I am crazy when I have boxes, gifts and wrap sitting out in early November, but without fail, by the time we piece everything together, we are lucky to get the gifts delivered by Christmas.
