
I really do not have much money at all but here are the kinds of things people regularly say to me:
"Wow, who does your hair? I LOVE it!"
"It must be nice to travel as much as you do!"
"You sure eat out a lot...and at all the great restaurants. How do you do it?"
"That's a great jacket. Who's the designer?"
The thing is - I pay $14 for my hair cut at
Great Clips and color it at home for about $4.
I travel when I see great deals and I never pay anywhere near what most of my friends pay for vacations.
I eat out for free several times a week - I'm a mystery shopper - that's my hobby.
And the jacket - I got it at
Dots, a clothing store with very low prices.
This is just the tip of the iceberg though...the point is, nobody needs to know how much you spend or how you get the things you get. Keep your mouth shut, smile and nod...and you'll portray and image of being well-off financially. I live my life as a classy but cheap chick!
